Thank you to each and every person who has taken the time to send me a testimonial. It means so much that the children enjoyed the activities and that they continued talking about Unplugged Tots long after the sessions finished.

“Working with Hannah throughout the implementation of Unplugged Tots into our EYFS curriculum has been so easy and one I thoroughly enjoyed. Hannah personalised the curriculum to meet the needs of our children and to fit with our wider curriculum. Termly meetings meant we could make tweaks along the way.
The Unplugged Curriculum itself, is just fantastic. It builds on early programming and computational skills that meant we had a seamless progression into our KS1 curriculum.
The plans are very detailed meaning that it was easy for our PPA teacher to implement. I couldn't recommend Hannah and Unplugged Tots more!!”

"It was great to see the children access the curriculum and resources with such ease.
The language and reasoning skills were great and it led to lots of further opportunities for children to develop these skills through their play.
It was really helpful to have a curriculum for computing for the EYFS and has helped us to transition much easier into the KS1 curriculum."
“Lovely concept! I like the structure and repetition.”

“This needs to be at every coding event in the country - it’s so important to teach concepts without a screen. As a family we enjoyed every aspect especially the sewing!”

“Unplugged Tots was a great experience here at Glebe Kids, it gave the children a fantastic opportunity to develop some new skills. The children were excited to take part each week with Hannah and Val and learn new games/activities.
We found that it encouraged some of our children’s listening and concentration skills, it introduced maths aspects and a lot of other areas from the Early Years Foundation Stage. The children that took part were able to remember each week what they did the week before and started to learn new vocabulary including the word ‘algorithm’. They even made up their own algorithms. They thoroughly enjoyed their time with Unplugged Tots and it was made to be a fun experience that was age appropriate.”
— Sam, Glebe Kids Nursery Manager
“The children got a lot out of the experience from Unplugged Tots, especially with recall and solving maths problems. For example, learning their left and right with the map work. This also encouraged prepositional language.”
— Lisa, Glebe Kids
“My daughter really enjoyed taking part in these unplugged coding activities. She was having fun and learning at the same time. My daughter tried some of these unplugged coding activities when she was 2 years old. She particularly loved the treasure map activity and the idea of following arrows to find something. By the time she was 3 years old she was making maps like this herself and applying her knowledge.
It was amazing to see the longer-term impact of those early activities. I was never taught coding at school but it’s something that’s becoming increasingly important and is included in the National Curriculum. I didn’t feel I had the knowledge to help my daughter develop these skills and so these unplugged coding activities were perfect. They’re fun, easy to deliver and can done be done individually or in small groups of children.”

“We wanted to say thank you so much for your indoor activity which kept us busy this afternoon! We used your Halloween indoor treasure hunt idea today as we didn’t get chance last weekend. The kids and I had great fun and they had no idea it was a learning activity! We used pegs as objects for them to find following their map and at the end after finding all 5 pegs there was a kinder egg marked under the X spot ( this of course was their best part!)”
— Maxine, Mum of Unplugged Tots students
“They loved it and it inspired them to make their own treasure maps, using left and right, to make one for me!”
